Three IAS Professors inducted into the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences

Three Professors of the Institute, namely Professor Dzodzi A. Tsikata, Professor Akosua Adomako Ampofo and Professor Albert K. Awedoba (together with other scholars), were inducted into the Fellowship of the Arts Section, Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (GAAS), as eminent Ghanaian scholars, as part of the Academy's anniversary celebrations.The ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the GAAS Auditorium.

We, at the Institute, are very proud of this achievement and say ayekoo to our Professors.

Smooth Transition

Fellows of the Institute witnessed a smooth transition from the outgoing Acting Director, Professor Francis Dodoo to the incoming Director, Professor Tsikata. It was occasion for Prof. Dodoo to speak about his one- year tenure as IAS Head, and to receive comments as well as answer questions from the Fellows.
