Martin De Porres is a Senior Archivist at the Manhyia Archives under the management of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana. I have worked in the Archives for almost twelve years. Apart from my routine work of organising and managing the records under my control, I have established and organised the records of the National House of Chiefs. I have also assisted the Asantehene’s Lands Secretariat to establish their own archives and records centre.
