Members of the University community are hereby invited to participate in the 60th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Institute of African Studies and the founding of the Ghana Dance Ensemble. 

Below are the details for the two-day celebrations: 

 

DAY 1: 

Event: Launch of the Anniversary and Round Table Discussion by past Directors. 

Date: Thursday, 14th December, 2023. 

Venue: Yiri Lodge Conference Hall. 

Time: 9:00 am. 

 

DAY 2: 

Event: Awards to past Directors of IAS, past Artistic Directors of GDE, and pioneers of GDE dubbed “ADIKANFO MO: An Evening of Performances in Honour of our Pioneers.” 

Date: Saturday, 16th December 2023. 

Venue: The Quadrangle at the Old Site of IAS. 

Time: 4:00 pm.
